Usage Background

When you encounter the following problems, you can use the "2D Drawings Comparison" function.

1. You may want to find the variations in the two versions of the same drawing, which may be DWG or PDF drawing.

Operation Steps

Step 1, Click "Tool" -> "2D Drawings Comparison" to enable "MagiDiffer".

Step 2, Click "New" in the menu bar of MagiDiffer to import the drawings. In the dialog window, there is "Layout" item;

 if it is a DWG drawing, you can choose the target layouts to compare; if it is a PDF drawing, you can choose the pages to compare.

Step 3, Click "Create" to start comparing.

Description

The menu bar of MagiDiffer cosists of the following:

1) Open: to open the existing .mdiff file;

2) Save: to save the comparison results as .mdiff file;

3) Close: to close the project after comparison;

4) Aerial View: to look down and locate the perspective;

5) Full Screen: to get an entire view of the drawings;

6) Layer: to control the visibility of the drawing layers; 

7) Difference: to show or hide the "Difference List", which will list the drawing variations by color.
