Usage Background

When you encounter the following problem, you can use this function.

1. When you do complicated arithmetic operations, you can use the calculator built in the software if you don't have one in hand.

Operation Steps

Step 1: Click Tool > Calculator in the menu bar to open Calculator window.

Description

1. Clear: Clear the entered data in the Expression box.

2. Backspace: Delete the previous character in the Expression box.

3. ^ : E.g. 3 ^ 7 means the seventh power of 3.

4. Return Result: Return the result to the input box.

5. You can move the mouse to click the numeric keys or use the keyboard to enter number in the Expression box.

Math Function Description:

Sqr ( ): Square, e.g. Sqr (4) = 16

Sqrt ( ): Square root, e.g. Sqrt (4) =2

Sin (x): Sine, e.g. Sin (0) =0

Cos (x): Cosine, e.g. Cos (0) =1

ATan (x): Arctangent, e.g. ATan (0)
