Insert CAD Drawing
Use Background
The function enables to continue importing other CAD drawing after CAD drawing has been imported.
Operation Steps
Step 1: Click CAD Identification -> Import Drawing in the navigation bar;
Step 2: Click Insert Drawing in the drawing toolbar, select folder where the CAD drawing exists, select file to be imported, and click Open;
Note
1. Currently selected file can be previewed on the right side of the interface. Click button at the top right corner to zoom in and preview the selected drawing.
Step 3: Input ratio of actual size and dimension in the pop-up interface "Please input scale of original drawing", and click OK;
Notes
1. The scale is ratio of actual size of pixels and dimension of drawing. For example, if actual size of pixel of a line segment is 100, dimension is 300, then scale of original drawing is 1:3.
Step 4: Show inserted drawing file in the drawing area to complete operation.
Scale CAD
Use Background
1. When the size of the imported CAD drawing need to be adjusted, you can use this function to rescale the drawing.
2. When the scale ratio of different parts are different, you can use this function instead of import the drawing again to set the scale.
Operation Steps
Step 1: Click Scale CAD button in the toolbar;
Step 2: Select the range to scale;
Step 3: Set a base point as the scale center;
Step 4: Specify two points to define a base line, namely a section of CAD line on the drawing;
Step 5: Input the dimension you want so that the drawing will be scaled;
Notes
Before using this function, you can use the Measure Distance function in Tool to get the current scale of the drawing.
Relocate
Usage Background
When another drawing is imported into the software after a certain element in the current drawing is identified, and the two drawings don't overlap, you can use this function to relocate the drawing and make them overlap.
Operation Steps
Step 1: Click CAD Identification -> Import Drawing in the navigation bar;
Step 2: Click Relocate in the toolbar, and then click a point in the current CAD drawing as the base point.
Step 3: Move the mouse and select the second point as the target point.
Step 4: Click the target point to complete operation.
Notes
1. This function is used to relocate the elements in different drawings. For example, after columns in the imported column drawing are identified, it needs to identify walls, but the column drawing doesn't overlap with the imported wall drawing. At this time, you can use this function.
Delete
sage Background
If the CAD drawing is imported wrongly or the imported CAD drawing has been identified, you can use this function to clear the current CAD drawing so as to make the drawing area neat.
Operation Steps
Step 1: Click CAD Identification -> Import Drawing in the navigation bar;
Step 2: Click Clear in the toolbar, and click Yes in the pop-up dialog box to clear the CAD drawing and click No to cancel the operation.
Display CAD Drawing
Usage Background
You can choose to show or hide CAD drawing based on actual conditions when importing drawing.
Operation Procedures
Step 1: Click CAD Identification -> CAD Drawing in the navigation bar;
Step 2: Click Show CAD Drawing in the drawing toolbar to switch between showing and hiding CAD drawing.
