Usage Background
When a designer designs beam rebars by beam detail drawing, beam rebars can be arranged by CAD identifying beam detail drawing in the Rebar Layout interface.
Operation Procedures
Only beam element can go into Rebar Layout directly before summary calculation. After going into Rebar Layout, CAD beam detail drawing can be imported by clicking Import Drawing to identify rebars.
Identity Main Bar Procedures:
Step 1: Click Identify Main Bar.
Step 2: Click to select main rebar info., right click to confirm. (Right click can help you go to Step 3 directly.)
Step 3: Click to select CAD line, right click to confirm.
Step 4: Rebar Information dialog box pops up. Verify the identified info., and then click OK to generate rebars.
Identity Links Procedures:
Step 1: Click Identify Links.
Step 2: Click to select links info., right click to confirm. (Right click can help you go to Step 3 directly.)
Step 3: Click to select span section info., right click to confirm. (Right click can help you go to Step 4 directly.)
Step 4: Specify the scope of links. Click to select the first and second point.
Step 5: Links Information dialog box pops up. Verify the identifying info., and then click OK to generate links.
After Identification
Set Rebar Insertion Point:
If you don't set rebar insertion point, the software will identify the far left rebar as insertion point by default. When quitting Rebar Layout or switching to other beams, the software will deduct the position alignment of one cover based on rebar insertion point and the left sideline of beam rebar entity automatically.
Step 1: Click Insertion Point.
Step 2: Click the position to be set rebar insertion point.
Step 3: Right click to confirm. The dialog box pops up.
