When you encounter the following problems, you can use Rebar 3D function.
1. To check whether calculation is correct when using the software.
2. To view calculation result when checking quantity.
3. Through reviewing rebar 3D, assist users to learn rebar calculation.
At this point, you can use Rebar 3D to check rebar calculation results of the elements.
Rebar 3D can display calculation results of the following elements: sump pit, raft main bar, raft support bar, shear wall, raft strip, spiral slab, column cap and column pier, column, beam, slab main bar and slab support bar etc., and other elements will be added in subsequent releases. Rebar is layed out and displayed based on its length and shape in the element, with calculation length of each segment marked for users to visually view calculation result and check rebar quantity. Rebar 3D can visually and truly display the internal rebar frame of currently selected entity, clearly display the corresponding relation of every bar with that in Edit Rebar.
E.g. Rebar 3D of beams are introduced below
Step 1: Summary calculation
Step 2: Choose Rebar 3D in view menu or the toolbar button, then choose the entity you want to view, as shown below.
Step 3: drag the mouse to change angle to view rebar in 3D display.
Step 4: Control the displaying of different types of rebar through Display Control Panel.
Step 5: Meanwhile you can choose Edit Rebar to view the calculations under Rebar 3D at the same time, as shown below.
The bar lines in drawing area correspond with these data rows in Edit Rebar. Choose a bar line, and software will automatically locate to corresponding row in the table. On the other hand, select a row in the table will automatically locate to corresponding bar lines in Rebar 3D.
