Usage Background
When you encounter the following problems, you can use this function.
1. When performing side label on beam, it is inconvenient to enter information if the beam is drawn vertically or obliquely.
2. It is inconvenient to view the rebar information when drawing slab main bars or slab support bars, and arranging vertical bars.
Here, you can use Screen Rotation to rotate the screen at an angle to make beams or rebar lines display horizontally, which is convenient to enter the side label and lay out the slab main bars and slab support bars.
Operation Steps
Screen Rotation can be found in the View menu, and the detailed function is shown as in the figure below.
1. 90 Degree Clockwise: This function enables the drawing area rotate clockwise automatically by 90 degree.
2. 90 Degree Counter-clockwise: This function enables the drawing area rotate anticlockwise automatically by 90 degree.
3. Rotate by Entity: Beam is drawn obliquely as shown below, which is inconvenient to enter and view side label. Here, you need to rotate the screen by an angle to make the beam display horizontally so as to enter side label easily.
Step 1: Select Rotate by Entity.
Step 2: Select a linear entity, e.g. beam entity.
Step 3: Determine the upward direction of the entity, and then click the left side of the beam entity to finish the operation. The rotated drawing area is shown as in the figure below.
4. Restore Initial View: This function enables to restore the view before rotation automatically.
