Identification enables users to identify rebar information through CAD drawing and then automatically calculate the rebar quantity.
Operation Steps
1. In the Element Display area, add elements, for example, add a beam. Select Beam group, click Add Element to create beam element.
2. Then in the Drawing Manager, you can add, split or delete drawings. For other drawing-related operations, go to the Drawing group.
3. Identify Main Bar
Click Identify Main Bar.
Click rebar labels, and right-click to confirm; click rebar lines, and right-click to conform; then the Rebar Information window appears. You can confirm the identified info in the window.
Click Confirm, and then a rebar is identified and generated.
Use the same way to identity all rebar in the beam one by one.
4. Identify Links
Click Identify Links > click rebar info > right-click to confirm > click size info > right-click to confirm > click the start point of arrangement scope of links > click the end point > right-click to confirm, and then the Confirm Link Information window appears.
Click OK, and the links are generated. Use the same way to identify all links in the beam.
Note:
For all steps in the procedure, you can right-click to skip or exit directly.
5. Complete the identification.
After identifying one beam, you can go to other beam element to continue identification. Use the same way till all beam rebar are identified.
6. Draw Bar
Besides Auto-Identify Rebar, you can also import drawings and then directly use the Draw Bar function to trace rebar out. For example, import the stair drawing, and then click Draw Bar.
In the Rebar Info window, input specific rebar info, and then trace the rebar out based on the drawing. Right-click to confirm, and the rebar can be generated automatically.
