Usage Background

You can use this function under the following situation.

1. You want to merge the current project with another project.

Operation Steps

Step 1: Click BIM Model> Merge Other Projects in the menu bar, and Merge projects window pops up.

Step 2: Select the project to be merged and click Open.

Step 3: Select the floors and elements to be merged and click OK.

Note

1. This function can be used for different users to cooperate to finish one project, which can be divided into different parts by floor or element, and then merge them together. E.g. one finishes drawing the underground floors while the other finishes drawing the overground floors.

2. The selected elements will be copied to the current project in the merging process, and Entities in Same Position/Elements with Same Name window pops up if elements with same name or the drawn entities exist in the current project. Users can select the options as required.

3. If two projects have different elevations, Floor Height Comparison window pops up, and you can choose to use which elevation by Use Current Project or Use External Project.
